Duck pen & quail pen pics

It was a busy weekend - finished the duck pen as well as my quail hutch.  Here's some pics

Quail hutch - fits 3 catering-sized lasagna pans perfectly in the tray.  Dump in the garden and go!

This is awesome.  I have been needing some ideas sinse my chicks are due to hatch this week big_smilebig_smilebig_smile I'm so excited

What do you use as your reservoir for the water bottles?

Women are Angels and when someone breaks our wings, we  simply continue to fly....on a broomstick

More water bottles!  Actually, I gauge it accordingly.  Two water bottles are good for about 15 quail filled once a day.  More than that and I'm too over-crowded or I add more bottles when the weather gets really hot.

I'm sorry, I worded it wrong, it was late for me.  I meant,what do you screw onto the water bottles so that your ducks and quail can drink out of it?  I can't quite tell what it is, but it sure does look handy!!

Ah...gotcha.  They are pop bottles with the waterer base that extends through the wire into the cage.  The bottle is held on by a wire spring.  I got them from Cutler Supply and they work really well.

2 Horses, 4 Dogs, 5 Cats, Butterscotch Call Drake , 3 Lav/Split Silkie Roosters, 1 Splash Silkie rooster, 5 Splash Silkie Hens, 4 Black/Lav split Silkie Hens, Trio of Seramas, Silkie/Cochin cross Chickens, Chicks in brooder and egss under Silkie, Breeding Blue Eyed White Lionhead Rabbits.

~*an egg come out of a chicken, a chicken comes out of an egg!*~
HENS: 4 Egyptian Fayoumis, 1 Cuckoo Maran, 4 Black Stars, 4 Red Stars, 2 Phoenix (a standard silver and a gold bantam) and 2 mystery meaties. ROOS: a gentle caring Cuckoo Maran and a shy but beautiful Silver Spangled Hamburg. quite a flock!
