I'm sure you've seen hoops houses like this one before, but I thought I would share ours anyway!  I am SO excited to finally have it done!  We've been using it since this past weekend.   We love it and the chickens seem to, too!

I was helping my husband build this, but I kept stepping back to take pictures of it along the way.

Hubby working on putting the frame together.

Putting on the corner braces.

Attaching a cattle panel to the frame.

Now it's starting to look like something.

Putting the chicken wire on.

All the chicken wire is on... we're getting there!

Almost done - tarp is on & nest boxes and roosts are in.

Done - It's now in the pasture field and the chickens are enjoying it!

These are the plans the we based ours off of  - they will be helpful if you decide to build one!

I wanted the back braces to be like the ones in the plans, but we didn't have any boards long enough, so we just braced it up whatever way we could make it work (this was a low budget build).

The plans say you don't need to cover the whole thing with chicken wire, but we did anyway.  We figured in case the tarp ever somehow blew off, the chickens would still stay in and nothing else could get in.

I can move it myself, so it is fairly lightweight.  I have to face the coop and have the rope going across right above my behind and walk backward to move it, but, hey, it works!  smile

Edited to add: Davaroo... you were right on - I used his plans!!  smile

Nice. I've been thinking about something like this. Just wasn't sure how to go about it. Thanks for the step by step pics! I might be able to do something like that.
