That is awesome!  I started with a DDR lined stud, but lost him to torsion before I got any pups out of him sad Poor man.  I imported my next stud from the Czech republic, he was DDR/Czech and was HUGE!  I loved that dog, but was never able to get his papers.  That was the end of my dog breeding for awhile.  Between him, a female whose seller lied about her lines (she was 1/2 american lines, the papers he showed me when I bought her were not the papers he sent me), and another person who cheated me out of a couple thousand dollars, I was so disgusted with the dishonesty that seemed so rampant in the dog world that I lost all desire to breed.  Maybe someday, but there are probably enough breeders anyway, I can just enjoy  the awesome dogs they produce big_smile  I also used to train professionally before I moved.  I  went to Triple Crown Academy and they have a strong emphasis on working disciplines.  I have always wanted to breed and train police dogs, a dream I thought was going to be realized.  Oh well.

Heida is show lines (still German, of course) and my last dog (who was also my first quality dog after 2 BYB GSDs) was also show lines and did very well for herself.  While my passion is still working lines and Schutzhund, I do enjoy dabbling with the show girls and cannot wait to show her when my life settles down a bit big_smile

Sorry to kinda hijack the thread, but I LOVE my shepherds smile  They are my kids and my passion!  I always recommend a GSD whenever anyone asks what kind of dog they should get  tongue

Debi, she has a sweet face! I'm sure she's going to be a great dog, so glad for Ken! One of those "it was meant to be" situations.

I have really enjoyed the pics of all the wonderful dogs, so here's is our shepherd mix, Wolfie. He was a feral living in the woods and DH spent a couple years feeding him before we could get him here. He still can't be trusted not to bite, though he's a grand old man of about 14 now!

Don't get all your exercise leaping to conclusions!

Poultry- they may be your pets, they may be your hobby, they may be your livestock. But remember, if you fall down in the pen, unconscious? They WILL eat you.

My Male is DDR/Czech and my female is West German, both from Championlines. I have also been ripped off, once by the same guy I bought my male from, upon purchasing a female from $1000 and he never sent me her papers.

Her is my new girl DDR/Czech. Her Sire is a military dog in Saudi Arabia. She will be trained in SAR. Then when she is 2 she will deliver her first litter, crossed with my male. Both carry Grafental bloodlines.

My new baby, drove over 1300 miles (round trip) yesterday to pick her up.

Must say, I am in love and she is just great. lovelovelove

We got the puppies out from under the house today.  It took a couple days for mam to trust us but once her tail was out from between her legs and wagging we knew we had her!  She is a sweet doggie and the pups are all healthy.  6 of them!!!!!!!!!!!
