Royal Palm Turkey Poults (PICS ADDED)

I just bought 2 Royal Palm poults for $6 each. At what age can i tell what sex they will be???? Anything i can look for? These are my 1st turkeys. I'm praying for a male & female fl


ill take a picture of them in a few minutes


and as for breeding, are these the kinds that have problems re-populating? yes breeding...

If, by re-populating, you mean can they reproduce offspring, yes, Royal Palms can breed and hatch chicks.

Happy owner of 4 Buff Orpingtons, 4 guineas, 3 Black Langshan bantams, 6 Buff crosses, 1 OEG cross, 1 Maine Coon cat, and 4 Bourbon Red turkeys!

I think I remember seeing two of mine strutting around a week old.  Do you just have the two?  I have 5, still think I have the two gobblers

I'm back! I am starting all over from scratch and I'm so excited!

I didn't mean to offend anyone or any "laws" of the forum, but I really wish that the mods wouldn't delete the entire reply.  Sometimes you would like to re-read your reply to see what may have "not been helpful".

Unless you can vent sex (which is something I keep thinking I should try to learn) you can't really tell the sex until they get about breeding age.  The males will get bigger snood bumps and thicker legs but you've gotta have enough of them to really compare to see who's bigger and who's smaller.
