I was afraid that none of mine were in good enough condition, but a bath and a blow dry worked wonders.  The Brahma boys weren't even in conditioning cages, just on the ground in a pen.

Now waiting on my NPIP paper work so I can show out-of-state.

I was hoping to show at Shawnee this year, but the show closes on the 18th and I don't think that anything involving the NM NPIP moves that fast if at all.

I still want to attend a spectator.  Interested in a 700 mile drive????

Unfortunately, the Pullorum Ag was pricey and you have to buy a minimum 1000 units.

We were pulling a lil. pop-up camper with our Jeep and had to go in 4 wheel drive up to the top of the drive way to get to the lot.
So scary, we don't have any hills anywhere in fl.
SO going down the hill, I didn't know to go in 2nd. gear.............duh..........almost couldn't stop, due to the weight of camper pushing us.
I went to see the property and we did. Then got down to the town of Alamagordo.
I thought Mayhill was beautiful, Cloudcroft too.
I was wondering if anyone is familiar with this area of New Mexico?

Should I sell my lot or keep it? i can't build a home there.
any suggestions is helpfull.
thanks

Why couldn't you build a home?  Is there a well?  Access to electricity?  How many acres?

If you want to get away from Florida you could have a cabin there.  A lot of people in Las Cruces have summer camps in the Cloudcroft area.   Much cooler in the summer.

I have many kinds of chickens, mostly mutts but some like Frizzles, or Silkie's, RIR, really big roosters, and really snotty hens! I also have a bunch of NM Tree Chickens.

What is a NM Tree Chicken?

One already has a job in Cuba 30 miles away, ane they both will help out with the horses/ranch which is MUCH needed!!! Now we'll have time to take on some outside horses for training smile

Probably a good idea. Nice area though.  If I had the finances I would be interested myself.
