Hi I live in Rio Rancho New Mexico. Dose anyone have any Cochin hens they are looking for new homes for or chicks. :0)

Lazarus. I will talk to my mother.. She has taken over my cochins and silkies. I know she is particular to the silkies but she may have 3 or 4 barred cochins she might want to sell. I know she has an extra male barred cochin aswell. Its a long shot but i will ask for you. I also just bought some Giant blue cochins. town and country feed between tramway and carnuel has one blue left maybe two.

Ok thank you, we can only keep females though. We might give Town & Country a try, were they pullets?

i didnt ask. i think they may have asked for pullets buy you know how that goes. i called and asked if they had him a day after and it was gone. im sry.

I hope everyone can make plans to attend the Four Corners Poultry Show the first weekend of November in Farmington, NM.  Lots of beautiful show quality bird to check out.

Hi friends, I need to thin my flock.

 

I have 6 Rhode Island Red hens, a Silver Maran hen and a Delaware hen available. They're currently in molt (since it's molting season and it's cold) but were real good layers this year. None of them over 7 months old.

 

I'll have some barnyard chicks available soon too. I have a bunch of eggs in the incubator and my NHR (Rosie), it seems, is sitting on a nest of 13 eggs. Be happy to let go of those little gems for a buck a pop. They're more than likely a combination of BSL/RIR, RIR/RIR and NHR/RIR (I have a RIR rooster, can you tell?).

 

I'll let the hens go for $60 if you take all of them. I live in Socorro but can meet anyone in ABQ.

The Bloomfield NM Poultry Swap is this Sunday from 12 noon til 3 pm at the Bloomfield Ace Hardware.  Birds went fast last month so come early for the best selection.  Free to sell.  Please join us!
