We got ours in April. We had to wait due to the fact we weren't showing anything they had us wait until after all of the "show chickens" were done. Which was fine with us. We plan on showing this coming year. We have a couple of REALLY nice youngins out of our breeding pens that are going to be contenders..maybe even bring home a ribbon or two, three...ha ha.
We raise Large fowls Ameracanas, EE's, Turkens (lay green eggs), Marans (french lines),Golden Lace Cochins
bantams Silkies,Showgirls, Frizzled cochins
Our project pens:
bantams;Sizzles, Fancy Naked necks"frizzeld showgirls" LG; Olive eggers, delaware,
our npip # is in sig. line
my hubby is wanting Dorkings? Anybody know where I can possible find some? of course we are wanting to stay with npip but like any thing you always keep critters separated from each other for min. of 30 days just good practice we did it when we raised hogs, goats, cattle it just makes good sense to do that. You never know what the "newbie" might be carrying in with em. Just safer all the way around.
Gotcha covered...
Maybe we can work out a trade... hmmmmmm.
