CHICKEN WITH WORMS.. I did not know chicken got worms!!!

Are eggs safe to eat(previously collected) after just finding worms in chicken poop? Are the eggs contaminated? Can people get worms by eating eggs from chickens that have worms? Should I toss those eggs? (I know once I start treating w dewormer meds that you can't eat those eggs for a few wks)...
 
meone please help!!! My chicken is very sick ive gave him vetrx, lice and mites spray, nutridrench vitamin medicine, and vitamins and electrolytes for stress and weather changes, ect. He has no energy to wake up and cannot keep his balance when he tries to walk. Hes been like this for two weeks now. Hes skin and bones and wont eat, not even his worms. Ive been putting the medicine in his mouth but it hasn't been working!!
 
Doesn't feeding them pumpkin help with worms? I remember reading that somewhere and always put out a few twice a year for them to eat.

have you wormed this chicken with safeguard ?

Welcome to BYC! Sorry to say this, but pumpkin will not treat worms. The best way to treat worms is to work with a vet and have regular fecal done. If worm eggs are found the vet can advise you on how to treat the worms found.
 
from the description you provided, if you can afford it, this bird needs to get to a vet asap. i would be very worried about the inability to stand without wobbling and the emaciation.
