Most "Exotic" Hatch

Thread Starter

I had a dream last night that I hatched the *weirdest* looking little chicken. It was on day 18 and the shell had cracked. I decided to end it and opened the egg to find a fully dried chick inside just a peeping away..ODD! I must be getting excited for my hatch!

So that leads me to:
What is the most unique thing you have hatched?
Snakes, parrots, turtles, crains (a little far fetched but thought it would be awesome!)?

For me its my peafowl. Dont know how well they are doing
On day 20 nice heavy and most importantly not stinking!! (knock on wood hide)

What have you hatched??
Pictures  are always a plus!!

For me it would be geese. This is my first time to hatch anything. Hopefully by this time next year I can have a better answer. big_smile

I have never actually hatched eggs but I did have a dream that I hatched my great nephew out of an egg.  I have some really strange dreams. lol

A real friend knows you are a good egg even if you are a little cracked!

I've hatched geese, parrots, songbirds, and pigeons and doves.  smile
I'm interested in getting into birds of prey, as well as corvids and larger parrots.  It's a pretty serious hobby that I expect will grow into some sort of wildlife rehabilitation effort.
