Mixed Silkie Show

I am assuming that by "mixed Silkie" you mean a cross between a Silkie and something else?  If so, here is my baby.  Her name is Alexandra.  She is Silkie crossed with SOMETHING!!! LOL  Not sure but I think, maybe, EE.  She is probably around 16 weeks old but I am really not sure since I bought her already fully feathered and tiny.  She is black.  VERY black.  Feathers, skin, everything, and soooooo pretty.  These are cell phone pics and really don't do her justice.  I may change them for better ones later if I can.

this is my rooster, cicero.   ive been told he is a sizzle...a golden duckwing frizzle cochin-silkie cross....or something like that.  LOL

She is about 4 years old. As a chick, she was stepped on badly. After that incident, she couldn't keep up with her mom and I took her inside. She is a half silkie, part EE and who knows what. She went blind at gradually at age 3. She finds food and water by the sound of other chickens eating and drinking. I found her sitting on eggs!! Her family has a long history of extreme broodiness (she is a 3rd generation mutt on one side). She doesn't growl because she can't see who it is, but she is definitely sitting. I want to let her brood, it will give her a purpose. She can't always see the eggs that need to be rolled under. I think she might actually hatch something. She happens to be brooding under a roost

If you don't mind me asking...what breed of bird is that in the background?  I can only see legs and the bottom part of it.

Heres my handsome little man! He's a Silkie/Polish mix. He should win because when hes around no hen has to worry about being attacked by scary shoe laces...   Also..Hes very sick right now..the big girl hens hurt/ate his toe....so hes inside and getting meds and every time he hears a hen outside do her proud egg laying cackle he gets all flusterd and upset. he loves his girls even when they dont love him..   Now thats a faithful man!!!
