I am looking for a breeder of Turkens (APA standards).

I would like to speak to breeders that have concentrated on egg production as well as scarcity of feathers.

Good luck! There was a Turken "club", but I think they went under. They were supposed to be at the Nationals last year, but no one was there.

I know different hatcheries sell them, but you're asking for show quality, right? Let me know what you find, ok?

We have show quality red naked neck bantams. The hens lay lots of brown eggs and they have the 'patches' of feathers like they are supposed to. Our birds are a dark red, like the show RIR's. We have gotten black tailed buffs from McMurray and some other calico colors from the feed stores for standards.

*Edited to add, I saw that Sandhill Preservation Center has some largefowl red naked necks.
P.S., naked neck is the proper name for turkens in the standard. A turken is any bird with a naked neck, a naked neck is a bird that meets the APA SOP.

**Edit- I no longer have chickens. We got our bantams from Duane Urch.
