CAN YOU FEED CHICKENS EGG SHELLS????

What age might that be? I got them March 22nd, they only had the tips of their wings feathered so I'm assuming they were probably less than a week old, they are fully feathered and on grower feed now.
Depends on the breed, individual and the time of year they mature, but you can usually expect the average to be between 5 and 6 months.

Not only do i feed my hens egg shells i crack eggs open and then throw them both the shell and egg and i had no problem with egg eating. They have very thick shells i dropped an egg (same egg) 3 times and it didnt break i was having issues. They gets lots of protien.

I save eggshells, crush them, and then bury them a few inches under our tomato plants, but now we have some chicks. 50lbs of bone meal is cheep for the garden.
