This is a GREAT post/thread.  Thanks for your all the work you've gone to while putting it together.  I'm going to put the URL at the bottom of my My BYC Page where I store posts that I never want to lose.

It has always amazed me that there isn't a quality breeders directory available on the internet. It seems as though that would be the holy grail to preservation poultry.

I'm glad you guys like it.
I've been working on it for awhile. My husband thinks I'm nuts for sitting and looking at hatcheries for hours.

There are too many breeds and varieties in the world to have them all... but its too hard just to choose a few.

Currently breeding Bantam Orpingtons, Anconas, White Faced Black Spanish, and RC Rhode Island Reds.  Also have Buff, Blue Swedish and Runner ducks along with Chinese Geese.

Thanks for posting the list. I could have used it when I was ordering chicks. I know it will be useful for others. I didn't even know about most of these hatcheries.

I've got a list of hatcheries by state and breeders by breed on my website... www.CountryChickens.com.

Most of the info posted there was collected from post on BYC.
