SportTees- here's a few pictures for you. It's very simple and not very attractive, but it will do for now. I would love to get a real pond liner for them at some point. The water is very dirty right now, but I've only had it going for about a week or more. I've read it can take 4-8 weeks for enough bacteria to build up to really make the filter work. I haven't cleaned it. I do pump the water out of the pool every few days and refill it. I need to set the filter higher, they keep eating the plants out of it.

I used this design, but put a metal screen on top of the filter squares so they wouldn't come out of the top.

And I was losing lots of water to dribbling down the sides, so siliconed a piece of plastic on the outlet hole. I think the pump is a 3 amp, pretty small, but works good.
