x2. In a gallon sprayer, I mix a gallon of vinegar, cup of salt, couple tablespoons of castile soap (helps the mixture adhere to plants), and 10 drops of orange essential oil. Worked like a charm on pesky Bermuda grass in the gravel surrounding our chicken coop and run (chickens couldn't care less about keeping the gravel cleaned up when the entire lush lawn is just a few steps beyond). I also second doing it when the hot sun will hit the area for at least a few hours after application; really helps with the effectiveness. I use regular household vinegar (low acidity, 3-7%), sometimes vinegar with a higher acidity is needed for really stubborn plants (20% acidity or higher), but regular vinegar is plentiful and cheap so starting there doesn't hurt.
