you did not ask me but, I have a drain in mine, I just told them what I wanted to do at the hard ware store and they gave me a drain with an long piece or flexable plastic pipe. I just drilled the hole and put it in, I built a frame to support the tub and be able to run the plumbing underneath it and out. i cant find a good pic but will keep looking

I love all these and want ducks badly..

Do they really eat flies? Lord knows I have tons of them with pigs and horses...

Can you also let them free range like chickens? The come in for the night? I really need to start reading up on ducks...still working on hubby to let me get some!

thanks to all!!!!! I printed off pictures and am trying to figure out what I can do. Please keep the ideas coming. It now looks like there will be 6 left. No idea what ? 2 are yellow 2 are black with 4 or 5 yellow spots. 2 are tan , 2 are black, black feet, black bill, I can't remember what the other four are like. I will look when I get to school tomorrow. I started out with 18 eggs. The lady that sent me the eggs just said they were an assortment of domestic ducks. My class and I hatched the eggs. I also have no idea what sex they are. I just love them all. Any advice will galdly be accepted. Thanks Anne

Here's a pic of Casa Quackers. My hubby designed and built this for my first ducks. Both ends open for easy hose-out. It's on skids so we can move it up to the house once the pond freezes over.

I have made a couple of changes since the original construction. The wire door has been replaced with a more solid one. I have also added a run on the back that's about 24" high and covered with flip open panels.
