I took some new pictures today, what do you think?  The info is on the previous post last night.  My photos are on my blog  http://psychoflowers.blogspot.com/

Besides
being totally sweet and adorable, we are wondering if "Daisy" should be name "Duke" instead....

Daisy still doesn't quack, only a wispy raspy cheep.

You see that black outline around his bill? That is going to spread, turn black and then turn green.

Boy big_smile

7 quacking ducks, 5 spazzy quail, 3 lazy cats, 2 grown sons, 1 goofy husband... and no partridge, but I have a pear tree!

I got them at a farm supply store and they said they were all females!   Now that I have a pair, where do I go from there? lol  I don't want babies, I shouldn't even have these 2 in the city.  lol  Oh, my, Oh, My!

They will only have babies if you don't collect the eggs and let the female set.

I live in a suburban neighborhood and I have 6 ducks big_smile

They are beautiful ducks! Keep em and just remember to collect the eggs every day when the hen is laying.

I am looking forward to that!  So I guess we will be fighting over the one egg a day!   tongue      Does the ring around the neck have any significance?

Okay I am laughing about this, but I included another photo of our other duck.  Now "she" does quack....  Is she a she?  big_smile

I would say too early to tell unless you hear a definite difference in quacking.

Though I tend to agree that you might have a drake there.

How old are they?
