OK, Sevin dust, is it good or not?!

I can't believe that anyone who promotes health could possibly think that Sevin dust is either good or healthy. I have a neighbor who had five (5) bee hives, they all died in one summer. He called the state bee inspector to come and inspect the hives and see what might have went wrong. The hives were all full of Sevin dust, and all the bees were dead. I have another neighbor right across the road whom I went to visit one day, and his garden looked like it had snowed it had so much Sevin dust on it. There are much better ways to manage a garden then with deadly chemicals.

After much research I decided to dust my chickens with Sevin for the following reasons:

Those who are against it, don't use it and most never did because of the harmful effects that it can have on beneficial species like bees and there are tree hugger alternatives like insecticidal soaps and horticultural oils.

Those who are for it use it all the time because it works great. They've been using it for years without a problem.

What most people don't know about Fleas is if someone moves out of a rent house with a flea infestation and all the fleas die they lay eggs and leave dormant eggs which will began to hatch when a warm body moves in. My experience is when I rented a house. I always used 5% seven dust and dusted the carpets and all around the floor boards, window sills and along the edges of the walls.
Leave it along and move in. In a week or so those eggs start to hatch and the baby fleas start crawling around spreading and DIE due to the 7 dust. IF they die before they mature the cycle is broken.. BUT, I learned to leave it for a month or so.. With hard wood floors, I removed it with a Wet mop. I used a WET vac to clean the carpets. After that no more fleas..
