Can Frizzles fly?

You posted this a few times.. and I kept asking, what do you mean by carrying the frizzle gene?

"Now you can breed the frizzles to the smooths. Smooths are the 1/2 frizzle and 1/2 regular feathered frizzles, but have the Frizzle genes. They are very important to your
breeding plan. If they are good typed do not discard them.

They have a modifying gene when bred to the frizzle side of the breeding they being disposed to a frizzle parent will then make the breeding ie: frizzle to smooth = 1/2 frizzle
and 1/2 smooths in the next generation. At least 1/3 will be smooth and 2/3 frizzle. Any ways mine always did."

Can you please clarify...

and if what you call modyfier is mf then there is no guarantee that the original bird will have it, the only way you can find out will be to breed frizzle to frizzle, cull all those with normal and frazzled feather and do a test mating of your normal frizzle looking birds with straight feathered established breed to see if any will breed 100% frizzles...

The amount of breeding needed will be astronomical...

I have some who can, and one who cannot fly. She hops, but you would never mistake it for flying lol. The ones who could fly were Showgirl frizzles...They never had any problem flying up to about 4 ft.

Mine cannot seem to fly and ends up sleeping alone. I really feel sorry for it, so for now, it has a box to sleep in at night. I plan to build it something a little better.
