Bart those are magnificient birds, wish you were not sooooo far away. hmm

Yep, they gotta be the coolest breed.  I have 5 of the standard blue cochins, humongeous birds!!!

Hope it's OK to post cross breds. I have three new silkie cochin crosses. They are wonderful birds with the funniest expressions. I love their tophats.

The feathers on their feet are HUGE! They look like snowshoes.

Those are my pair of mottled bantams. The cockerel (left) is named Your Mom and the pullet is named Pot Pie.

This is a bantam that a friend gave me as she new I loved Cochins. Hasn't crowed yet. Love the deep red color. My daughter named her "Tomato". Anyone think she may be a "he"?

I've only had the bantam in the past. soooooooooo, do the bantams have the cushion tails only.  All standard cochin pictures I see look like a partial cushion tail.  To me it makes the standards look like cross breds.
