She appears to be a white Cochin. I hope that feathers develop well on the middle toes.
Bantam Cochins in Black, Birchen, Columbian and Buff Columbian. Now also have Sliver Penciled and Partridge. Working on a Silver Laced Project. Gold Laced project, and now a few White and White Frizzle.

ok thanks, i knew the color but was iffy if a cochin or not :P shes pretty sweet, their supposed to have feathering on the middle toes? let go check our other cochins for that..
and our black cochin has middle toe feathers, she my best show quality one so far ( my first cochin was a black rooster, I loved him dearly)
I agree with Craig, she needs a lot more foot feathering, but she does appear to be a Cochin. She's cute as all babies are want to be.

It came to me that every time I lose a dog, they take a piece of my heart with them, and every new dog who comes into my life, gifts me with a piece of theirs. If I live long enough, all the components of my heart will be dog, and I will become as generous and loving as they are." - Cheryl Zuccaro

ya, our black cochin looks much better
Are you absolutely sure that she's a Cochin. She looks to be a cute little Frizzle chick, but she is lacking any leg and foot feathering. I also would want to watch her very closely and make sure you know that it is the other chicks that are picking at her feet. They don't look red, bloody or scabby as feet that are being picked on would be. She appears to be missing at least two toenails, which is not an uncommon problem with heavy feather footed birds, but she doesn't have enough feathering to be that problem. I don't know, this is an interesting dilemma. I've just never seen or heard of a chicks' feet being picked at, of course that doesn't mean anything since there's a lot I've never heard of.

well our turkeys last year (witnessed) pulled out the toenails, and ive seen them peck at her, and she does have scabs, not the best pics
Hey Craig, guess what I've got! I have two itty-bitty little Columbian chicks and 6 Buff Columbians.
I also have one Blue chick from my Reserve Breed hen that I scarfed up at Crossroads, but she hasn't really started to lay very well yet. I've also been having trouble with the humidity in my Sportsman, but I think I've got it corrected now. I want to make sure that it's perfect before I put the next 6 doz eggs in. Some of them are laying extremely well, but some haven't really got goin' yet. The Columbians are some that are laying VERY well right now.
I've got a color question, but I'll ask it over on the genetics thread.
