don't know about everyone else, but by 2 weeks you should be seeing comb and wattles on the cockerels way more than the pullets. i've been pretty good at comparing mine. this last time i had all pullets LOL  so i kept second guessing myself.

Welcome to the Zoo!  2 Morgans, 2 Minis, 1 Standard Poodle, 3 cats, 3 pet birds and the chickens.

Dorkings and bantam Cochins mostly, with a few others here and there.

And of course, my wonderful Hubby, who puts up with me and keeps me in check when I start to get crazy.

I don't see any wattles on any of them but most of them have little combs that are starting to form. Almost all of them have wing feathers and tail feathers except for 3.

If you want to put up some clear photos of their heads and bodies, I will do my best to help you sex them. I can sometimes tell....other times it is rather iffy.

So has anyone ever heard of a bearded cochin??
So I bought mille fluer hatching eggs then one of my own eggs from our cross cochin. I have one little hen that looks just like my other two pure cochins except she's got the toes of a silkie....which all the "pure mille fluer" cochin eggs I bought had those silkie toes too...and funky bed head on couple of roo's....I've seen silkie cochin crosses before but usually not so cochin looking and usually have feathers on head that are messy....this little girl looks very cochin but has this perfect beard...ever heard of this??
I would post picture but I can't figure it out from my phone
I think its super cute..

Hi all! I love seeing all the beautiful cochins. They are my favorites. I thought I'd share a photo of two  of my Birchen Cochins. I do not show cochins, but I try to raise quality birds. Here is a few photos of "Antonio". He is the Great Grandfather to my "BabyDoll" Cochin Project that I started 3 years ago.
