list of vets

Dr. Lee Nowak

He's an exotics vet. He's good in that he is very available, and usually will do emergencies after hours.
Lots of choices for appointment times. I do think he's a little pricey. But he is willing to work with you
and is a good listener.

And thanks for starting this!!! Usually we don't resort to veterinary care, but once in a while there is a need.

Dr. Immerblum knows his stuff and is a chicken person himself (his family has 40). The vet tech who helped him (unfortunately I didn't get her name) also clearly has a soft spot for chickies too. Definitely recommend.

glad i found this lists of vets last week..got hold of the vet at goldenview clinic in golden colorado.. they where great..my hen can breath again yeahhh..was a little expensive but it was worth it..they stayed after hours and helped us alot,,so if you live in metro denver and need help, I would call this vet clinic..and they do alot of fowls ...

I need help with a chicken that stopped standing on one leg now her wing does not lift up. my parents want to get ride of her .. can someone tell me if i can save my chicken? it's a millie fluer and i just showed her for the first time..she only a little bantam her name is peapod and is a millie fluer. she eats and drinks fine..

Possibly Mareks. Is the toe curled up?

I'd not risk it (even if it turned out not to be Mareks). Cull this chicken and do it fast.
Make sure and clean whatever she has been in with clorox/water.

I don't have the vet's name but there is a doctor here who does treat chickens, she just got there recently.

I would like to add a veterinary clinic outside of Chattanooga, TN where I had my D'uccle hen treated yesterday. She had a breathing problem, but hopefully, she will recover-still too soon to tell, but she is looking better after treatment.
