I consider the Vulturine, Crested, Plumed, Reichenow, etc all "wild guineas" as they are the true wild guineafowl from Africa. We also raise "domestic guineas" which have been domesticated from the helmeted guineafowl. The domestic guineas come in a wide range of colors- Pearl, Lavendar, Chocolate, Royal Purple, Slate, etc.

I'm not looking for vulturine guineas, but where did you get yours? I'm just curious.

We purchased our Vulturines from a few friends in different states so we would have different bloodlines- They came from OH, TX, NC, MO & CA.

I think I had emailed you before about them, how warm do they need to be kept in the winter?
