Hello, Ok I have to give my flock some meds.
Duramycin-10

The directions say 400 mg to 800 mg per gallon water

I dont know how to measure that out.
Any one know?

It is a package of powder.
This is what it says.

For chickens
Use soluble powder in the drinking water at a drug level of 400 - 800 mg tetracycline hydrochloride per gallon per day.

I dont know how to measure that out. All i have are those teaspoon measurement things.

Her comes the math.
Do you have a kitchen scale?
For 400mg you need ***** by weight. You may need to hit the po, drug store, or grocery to find a good scale...then measure what that amount will be in terms of 1/4 cup or whatever and repeat that way.
Wait a sec...I don't think I did that right.
I deffinately did not do that right the first time. I think you need 7.24g for 400mg of active ingredient but if someone else does not chime in find a pharmacist in the morning. They usually are happy to help and will even weigh out a dose for you so you can find out if it will be a Tbsp equivalent or whatever.
I'm sorry.
