Chicken growth/development chart?

I was wondering if anyone knows of a development chart or even just a listing of when the chicks start new phases of development.  For instance, when to expect shoulder feathers, neck feathers, leg feathers, etc.  I'm assuming (perhaps incorrectly) that these stages are pretty much the same order for each variety, but might not start on the same day after hatching.  I've been watching my little peeps develop and would love to be able to anticipate certain events like, "I'll bet in the next day or two the neck feathers will start popping out!"

Ok, so I'm a nerd and I've been totally consumed by my little peeps, and birds in general.  It sure if great fun though.

This is the best I can come up with for you.

Timeline of a chicken

That is AWESOME!!! Did you find one for ducks? I would love to know the growth and development for ducks.

You rock!!

8 Muscovies, 1 Cayuga, 1 Black Swedish, 2 Muscovy/Pekin mixes, 2 purebred Pekins. Also three dogs (German Shepherd, German Shepherd/Collie Mix, Lab/Chow mix), LOTS of cats (I have a feral colony that I manage).  I am wife to a very patient, wonderful, understanding, loving husband, and mom to a fantastic teenage son.

Thank you so much for finding that!  I'm sure I can have some fun filling in the blanks on that. wink

One general question to anyone/everyone....

That timeline states that at 5 weeks, you can tell sex on some breeds by looking for comb differences.  In my GLW's I approximate their age to be about 4 weeks and 2 of the 6 chicks have combs coming in that are pretty long from nose to head and there are lots of little points.  The other four don't have anything to speak of as far as comb.  I was wondering if these two could be roosters.  Any comments for those of you who have raised gold laced wyandottes?
