Hey jjdward,

Please visit www.littlegemhatchery.com. They are located in Douglasville, Georgia just past Six Flags. A small family run business. They have chicks, started, and layers available. They also have a good selection of rare breeds. Please tell them the Chicken Whisperer sent you! Good Luck!

Hi neighbor from Bowdon, GA. We have over 400 poultry here. We do custom hatches as well as have chicks available most of the year. Please feel free to contact me for the various birds we have available. And let me tell you about our hatches.

We have done custom hatches for many of our local customers and some driving as far away as Warner Robins and Eastman/Dublin area.

Here are a list of our available poultry:

Hope we can help you and I'm pleased you are shopping locally as we are a full time farm and dependent upon folks who believe in sustainable agriculture.

Have a blessed day.

I am a little behind the 8 ball on this but just in case someone is asking... Little Gem Hatchery is an awesome place to get hard to find great quality birds from kind friendly folks. They bend over backwards to make sure that your birds are good quality and that you are happy... I am very pleased with my orders from them.

Luann and I have gotten from Little Gem and they now have some of our stock, as well. They are wonderful to work with and I just adore my Welsummers and Black and Blue Copper and Golden Cuckoo Marans I got from them.
I would love to get stock from them in the future. I recommend them to everyone.

Hi Nadine! We got two starter flock of Pure Mahogany Non Production Rhode Island Reds and also our Welsummers from them. All our poultry are non hatchery.

After we visited with them and other breeders, after much prayer and study, we felt led to expand the offerings of our small organic principal farm to baby chicks and more hatching eggs. We expanded our types of other non-hatchery flocks to offer their eggs and baby chicks/poults/guineas as well. Our offerings include lines of chickens, turkeys, guineas, duck and geese.

Our listings are extensive and are listed above in the Official BYC listing. Hope you get a chance to see what we offer as well as we'd be honored to serve you. We're continuing to expand our offerings year by year and will be offering some new lines of poultry this year!

We just love our poultry and all our farm animals and treat them with the best feed, grains, access to fresh grass and home grown treats and care.

By the way, the OP has visited our farm and knows our offerings and you and others are always welcome to visit us... Please give me a pm first as we are in the midst of many building projects and want to be sure to be able to reserve time to meet you.

Thanks and have a blessed day.

I have looked over what you have to offer and was impressed, Bargain.
I will be coming down to Conyers in about another week but unfortunately do not have time to run over to visit. We have a Guinea Pig show and it is a triple so we will be there from about 7:30 am until 6 pm. Makes for a long day!

Maybe Luann and I can make a trip down soon to visit and see what all you have. We love to be around other Christians and do business with them. I know Luann is always looking for more and better Penedesencas and I am just now getting together some BLRW and sometime would like to add a few Golden Cuckoo Marans to my growing flock.
Would these be something you all carry on your farm?

You are welcome to email me privately. And visit my growing website to see all my interests.
