Shih Tzu Won't Eat???

I am perplexed.

I have a poodle named Pogo and a Shih Tzu named Vida. Vida has stopped eating her dog food for some reason. Originally, she would wolf down that stuff no problem. She especially loved to wait until Pogo had finished his meal...and went to eat hers. Then she could growl. (She's not vicious...it's just a random thing she does.)

Anyway, in the past week, she has not eaten an entire bowl of food. She has started throwing up and I KNOW it's because she doesn't eat. Is it something wrong with the food? We feed her the high-performance food from Wal-Mart with Twin Pets soft dog food mixed in. She has eaten it before with no issues...but has stopped this week. She wont' even eat the soft dog food by itself?

Any ideas? She's not ill, doesn't have a temperature, but was given some Comfortis two days ago, but she had stopped eating before then. She's locked inside the kennel in the bedroom with the food she hasn't eaten.

She just turned 2 years old June 30. She has ALWAYS eaten anything you give her? Which is why I'm stumped?

The poodle is all over the food she doesn't eat, so I don't know if it IS the dogfood and he's a pig, or if it isn't the dogfood and she's just being picky?

Well, she has black mottled in with the pink, but the pink parts are perfectly normal, the teeth look normal with no issues.

Hey...HEY...i didn't give her spaghetti!!!!!

Yes, drinking plenty of water, sleeping alot and then of course the throwing up because she's not eating. It's foamy with yellow liquid. Her poo yesterday was normal, but she hasn't eaten at all today so no poo tonight?

Yes...that would have been me that ate the spaghetti...it smelled perfectly fine! On the bright side...someone PMed me telling me they learned from my post!

ETA: Thank you for the warm wishes! I'm feeling MUCH better and am able to eat normal food again!

Like I said it could be a number of things,..If it were me I would call a vet in the morning and ask them what they thought. They don't charge for asking. It could be worms, it could be she swallowed a foreign object,...many different things. I wouldn't wait around about it too long.

Best of luck with her and I am real glad you are feeling better!
