I've already strung one strand out on the wire enclosure because it's been getting dark earlier and I need to see my way around out there to shut them in at night.

The girls did not approve at all of my putting a few mini-lights near one of their windows. I had to listen to disapproving "harrummpphhs" for about 10 minutes after that!

Big lights or minis? Colored or white? Santa on the roof?

Starting in December, let's have the pictures!

Ha ha ha! I was just looking at the decorations at Home Depot last week and thinking about the coop! DH was getting materials for the run, but I was just goofing around, after picking up potting soil. Besides lights, I want to put a wreath on the door. They had a family of geese that was lit up and I had my eye on them, too!

We used to do a Christmas tree for our flock. Here's a pic of them gathered around it at dusk.

What a great little tree! I forgot to say I was looking at little fake trees, too!

We put a web cam in the coop, so why not have some decorations in there, too??? DH is not grooving on these ideas, yet.

It's never too early to PLAN!!!

I'm thinking cranberries and popcorn strung up in the tractor eaves would be pretty, entertaining, and healthy. And a wreath of spinach, with beets and apples for color...
I don't want to decorate it for me, I want them to feel it's a party, too
