Brahmas

HI Everyone,
What I meant by I have seen some pics of enormous Brahmas,if I have seen pics of some unually large Brahmas, larger than the average Brahma. There is a pic of one on the feathersite brahma page that is hard to tell how big he really is,but he does look really tall.

Looking up the other two suggestions..
Thanks everyone!!!!

I have a 20ish week Light Brahma and she isn't very dense. My RIR (same age) is noticeably heavier than my LB.

What gives?

I have a batch of LF light Brahmas looking for a home right now. But I'm on the wrong end of the country for you!

I am having the same problem!! I have 9 and they are just puney! No matter what or how much I feed them they are just not getting any heavier.....they are looking for a new home!!

Brahmas are slow growers many not reaching full size until 2 years. Many people say that Lights are a bit larger than Buffs and Darks. Many Fanciers in the US are now breeding Partridge. Check out this handsome fellow posted by one of the members on the American Brahma Club forum.

YOu can see the rest of his family here

I predict a brahma explosion in the next couple of years.

There is a local breeder around here that has huge ones. But they probably aren't as big as the birds from UK. I don't think anyone has tht big of ones in America yet, or if they do they are sharing.

I have two LB's from him, but it will be a few months before hatching eggs are ready to sell. And I am hoping to get some more chicks before then.

If you still want them this spring, come find me.
