She looks like my barred rocks.

I'm a Farmer/Rancher  Wife,Mom & Grandma  No Farms, No food.
If you want house chickens and ducks in diapers then this is the forum for you.
I've got 50+ years of poultry experience, but this 'poultry' forum isn't for me anymore.
If you're going to complain about farmers, don't do it with a full belly or a mouthful.

Lola is a Barred Plymouth Rock and a pretty girl, too. Cute pics. Why did you clip her wings or did I just miss it? Sorry if I did!

Speckledhen, I am planning to give my girls free range in my back yard.  There is a chain-link fence around the yard, but I don't want to take any chances that they can get enough lift to get over the fence.  There are dogs on both sides.  So clipped them.  I made sure they can still get up onto the roosting perch.

Yeah, I see now that she is a Barred Rock.  That means I gave away my other Barred Rock, when I meant to give away one of the Ameracaunas.  Oh well.  The lady I gave the other to needed good layers.  I gave her a White Leghorn and a Barred Rock.

I was sad because I had no shoes, until I met a man who had no feet, and I beat him up and took HIS shoes, because what does a guy with no feet need shoes for, anyhow?

Ok, gotcha. My BR girls can sort of fly till they get to close to laying age, then they really can't get any lift off, LOL. You'll enjoy her!
