Last year they were okay customer service wise even though they sent me one sickly chick and one male that was supposed to be female.Hi,
I ordered my first flock from mypetchicken.com. I have 6 Buff Orpingtons that are now 5 weeks old. In my experience, their customer service was great. Always got a quick reply to email questions. ( I asked a lot of questions! ) I also thought their website was easy to navigate and choose when I wanted my chicks shipped. I ordered my chicks on a Tuesday, they were shipped Wednesday and arrived at my post office at 10:30am on Thursday. I did call the post office ahead of time to let them know the chicks would be arriving once I received the shipping confirmation from MPC. There is a 'runt' to the litter that was obvious when they arrived. It's seems to be doing well and growing well but I am currently wondering if it deaf. All the other chicks look healthy so far and seem to be doing great. I did pay the extra charge to have them sexed and it is still too early for me to tell if I did get all females. Hope this helps
This year? Absolutely appalling screw ups and horrible customer service. I hope anyone considering using them will read the link I posted above, because they have put me off their company forever and I would feel horrible if anyone had to go through the same kind of trouble they have put us through this year.
