I went looking for the hardware cloth and found metal lath wire 1.75 that i think would be perfect around the bottom and vent areas of my coop and run. Anyone know of this stuff?? It's 96 inches long (8ft) and i think 24 high for only 3.89 a sheet and i can in no way see anything including rats or mice able to get through it. Now i wouldnt want the whole coop in it, but what about the protecting parts around the lower part and even into the ground, and window stuff... thanks for any help.

Lath is pretty strong...Id go for it. It can be pretty sharp at edges though so be careful. Stretch it out as you put it up by using roofing nails and nailing diagonally away from the center of the lath.

super thanks rootball :) (now i feel kinda bad asking this same question in anothers post) It just seemed like for the price, i will feel just that much better at night. .....
