Woo hoo!!  Just got my copy of 'Raising Chickens for Dummies' a couple days ago.  I also treated myself to a travel coffee mug and a BYC University sweatshirt, as well as two of the youth t-shirts for my girls.  We're all so excited.
Funny story!  We have casual Fridays at work, and when there is a sporting event going on such as March madness, everyone is encouraged to wear something to support their teams, whether they're in the playoffs or not.  Well, I wore my BYC University sweatshirt.  I had several people stop me to read my shirt, and some even chuckled.  However, one actually wrote down the website and said they were going to check it out. yippiechickie
By the way, LOVE the sweatshirt.  Perfect fit, and very comfortable!  Thanks BYC!!woot

Thanks so much for the kind feedback!

BTW, what a fantastic idea to wear the BYC University sweatshirt to a sporting event!  thumbsup

Hello There...

I purchased one Saturday July 31st from Barnes and Noble, I didn't know it would be available thru this board or I would have waited and got it here but I must say, it's a great book especially for a Newbie........it's sorta like having a PDR around only it's my PDR on chickens......It's great to have something you can put your hands on and hopefully find and answer if for nothing else but to get you through until you can get a hold of someone to help clarify things.

No chickens yet....sad

I feel that happiness is a choice we can make daily, and that we can create our lives vs. life just happening to us.
