in this random rambling thread we post random pictures

Rebel, love your trailer! Oh man I want to go camping again. And what? Your nice big bedroom is going to be an office? Where will you sleep?
I started sleeping on the couch when I was 16, an I live in a 3 bed room house so its not for the lack of bedrooms. In part because as an on call firemen it was easier to sleep on the couch in my cloths. I later figured out that a whole room dedicated to sleeping was a waste of space. I was never in there. People that are in their rooms when they are not sleeping put TVs an other things in them that they would not need two of too.. In this my house my grandmother lives in one room, one room is my office now an one room is used for storage an it is closed off so we don't have to heat it. That couch in the camper is a jackknife couch bed though an the dinette makes a bed too.

It's true people don't need a whole big room for sleeping. We used to look at model homes on weekend out of curiosity and boredom - bedrooms big enough to have a private bowling alley. Just wide open space - bed, dresser, desk - why so much open room? What a waste.

I agree on those model homes! Waay too much room for the few people that live in them. I have asked my DH many times, why?

I Have extra bedrooms here now. Works when kids come to visit. One of my extra bedrooms..is what we call, the hatching room. :D When I'm not hatching, I do use it for when one of the kids comes over.. one of our son likes sleeping up here instead of down stairs where there are two other bedrooms. Not huge bedrooms at all. Sure is handy having them though, we do have a very large family after all! And we never know when someone is going to be coming over for something..just had a son and his girlfriend come from the south end of the state, needed to use the downstairs to get the family ready for a wedding they came up for.

I love random funny pictures!

I have a huge family. I actually know very few people that I am not closely related to. The reason one room is used for storage is cause if it was not, someone would want to move in. Some one askes about moving in about every 3 months..

We have three small bedrooms. I remember when I raised dogs, I had to move furniture out of room so I could put the whelping pen in there. At least I could stay in bed and get some sleep between tube feedings or watching puppies be born. I never had a tv in my room just clock radio. However over the years I really took over the small closets holding various sizes of clothes I grew into. Always hoping I would fit in the smaller sizes again but, didn't. Every so often I'd reluctantly give away the smallest sizes. I can't believe I ever fit in them. They were like new. I bet I bought them hoping a 5 lb.loss would get me into them - never happened.

We also have three small bedrooms.
They always seemed filled with dogs.
Which I am okay with.

My son made me promise not to let the youngest dog in his room. But every once in a while I let her into sniff.
I imagine it is strange for them to lose a member of their pack.

It is odd, the German shepherd is like a physicist or something, really smart, but she does not recognize her boy on skype. The sweetest -but not the most overtly intelligent -dog sees him and recognizes him and his voice,
The shepherd keeps looking under the desk, maybe because she knows he can't fit on the table with the computer?

We have a lot more room without the teenager.. more everything.

It's awful

We have 3 bedrooms in our house too. The really big one is the master which I like, there's room for a king size bed (I get a narrow slice and the "sprawler" gets the rest). The other 2 are small...1 for DH's office and 1 for me. I love having my own room with just my personal mementos, pictures, arty/craft-type stuff and my laptop. Plus, I know where things are in my room, can't say that for the rest of the house. We never have overnight company so we don't have to have extra bedroom furniture.
