A very pleasant and mature gentleman I spoke with on the phone yesterday, asked me to post these on BackYardChickens for him.. I told him I would pass the word.. Please contact him directly if you are interested in these birds..... I do not know details other than what is listed here..
Two small flocks of Penedesencas...several females and a few males...... He has Wheaten and Partridge.. He purchased the birds as chicks from a Texas breeder... He said the birds are very nice but a bit too flighty for his taste....... He prefers calm heavy breeds....he was unaware of the spunky characteristics of these Catalins when he purchased them.. These birds are not yet laying but are very close......
Sound like nice birds..... I hope he is able to find them a suitable home......
