Gun Owners and Non-Gun Owners should come to a Meeting of the Minds - Page 6

You dont have to have permits to own anything in Colorado.  You also dont have to have permits to carry, as long as it is on your property or in veiw.  It is one thing, thankfully, that is still up to the states.

For now. roll

Come on, ya'll know you wont ever get to the paddy wagon!  They dont want people with minds and guts to even be around at all.  You will be shot on sight, as a "danger to society", your independent thinking could spread and cause a rebellion, you know...

My two cents:  Some people believe that we don't need to own guns because the government will protect us. There are countries where the government didn't think the citizenry needed guns.
Communist China, North Korea, Cuba, and the USSR, just to name a few. The first step a government takes to control the populace with tyranny and despotism is to take away their guns.
Ok, I'm done.........Gotta go shoot the woodchucks in the beans.

I think that depends upon the state, because DH, Attorney, gave Oldest DD a shotgun for Christmas '08, then told her to get her F.O.I.D. card (Firearms Owner's IDentification) for the state of Illinois.
We don't get to ANYTHING illegal at our house!  ..ah, nuts!

**ducks4you kicks grounds and growls**

Now, all 5 of us have our cards.  We get to be Illinois card-carrying idiots because of the idiots that run our state!

AT LEAST, when you live in the COUNTRY in this State, they kinda leave you alone.

I'm now a proud gun owner. I enjoy it as a toy and find it quite useful for protection of my animals. I want more of them.

I also think the 2nd Amendment is a dead relic of a dead past, and that there is nothing wrong with reasonable gun control.

How's that for a "meeting of the minds"? lol
