Enjoy your slide down the slippery slope.  The Second Amendment is alive and well, protecting your right to bear arms - just what do you think will protect that right when more people believe it's a 'dead relic'?  The writers of the Constitution and the Amendments were very wise.

I have to agree with rainbeau on that one... The constitution is what made this country, and none of it is dead.  It is perfectly adapted to every society in any age, if freedom and prosperity is the goal. 

We have prostituted the constitution to mean anything we want it to, until most people dont know what it even says anymore.

I guess the constitution is considered out-dated because some folks don't own dictionaries.
