This is Pearl-Girl (we think). We got her/him when she/he was about 2 weeks old. She is now about 6.5 weeks old.

Can you help us determine if boy or girl? If we are correct about her/his age? And (be brutally honest) how does she/he rate as far as silkies go? We are not planning on showing but want to know if this is a good representative of the breed.

Didn't know if this has anything to do with anything. But the other chickens (esp. the Porcelain) are fascinated by Pearl. Stands outside the tractor and just looks at her. This particular Porcelain hated all the babies and only likes one other chicken. But don't know if she is trying to make friends or trying to figure out a way to get in there and kill it. LOL!
 
Too young to tell gender, looks to be very good quality. Very nice toes. A good example of well-feathered legs that are NOT vulture hocks. Comb looks to be modified rose comb as compared with a true walnut comb. Nicely feathered toes.
