One thing about it we have come up with a solution on how we are going to try and get APA to judge the egg of an individually hen at a show. We will be updating this on the club site within the month and in the next newsletter, if all goes smoothly.
 
The only thing I can say you are lucky and one of very few people that get Spherical shaped eggs. I get some spherical shape eggs also but not very many.

Well I have the mother load then on Spherical eggs... All but 3 of my hens lay them... I didn't realize I was that lucky... It is very hard to tell which end is up... I call them brown golf balls. Thanks for all the input Brenda...I am going blind reading it and taking it all in... I appreciate all the work you folks are doing.... I like to sit in the grandstands and watch the show.... We will see what happens in the end.
 
Hey Mike, nice cockerel. Can't wait until he gets his adult weight. Just wanted to mention that there will be a huge article on the MOAC site in the premium pages that will cover every aspect of the marans breed type from head to toe. New diagrams as well. It is the most valuable information I have seen as well as many french on the breed type. I'm in the process of translating it now to get it up on the site. May I use your pic for the newsletter sometime?
