Two weaned, registered Scottish Highland calves for sale - both fair ribbon winners! Scottish Highland are an ancient beef breed well-known for their excellent lean meat, easy calving, browsing ability, thick double hair coats and horns (males and females). Britain's Queen Elizabeth keeps a herd and is reported to only eat Highland beef.

BULL CALF (at left in photo): Skookumchuck's T-Bone (DOB 11/20/08): gentle red bull with excellent bloodlines, won 2009 Grand Champion Bull at the Grays Harbor County Fair and will be shown at the Puyallup Fair in September

HEIFER CALF (at right in photo): Skookumchuck's Annabel (DOB 12/2/08): smart, curious red heifer with mahogany coloration (results in blonde bangs and tail switch), very quick learner, won 2009 Reserve Champion Heifer Calf at the Grays Harbor County Fair and will be shown at the Puyallup Fair in September with her half-brother T-Bone.

Gorgeous. I've always wanted some...either that or buffaloes. LOL But they're really hard on fence and the highlands...they look too cute to eat!

Beautiful!  Someday!   I bookmarked your website!

They are beautiful.  I adore the look of Highland cattle (but I would say that, wouldn't I? big_smile)  And it is the best tasting beef too.  Good luck with these.

Ok, I haven't made a dime this year at work but I have a couple of deals that could close anytime.  So let's see if God will provide a miracle.  I would love to have those.

How about saying a prayer for me that one of the deals closes soon.  I'll take it as a sign that those babies are a blessing he wants me to have!

God Bless,

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, Tailfeathers. smile

I should point out T-Bone and Annabel are half-siblings (same sire) and therefore shouldn't be mated together, so unless a potential buyer has a good way of keeping them separated (and Annabel away from any potential bull for at least another 11 months - she's too young to breed yet), we will not sell them together.

Sorry for my ignorance--but can these be crossed with "regular" cattle? We've been looking for two beef for this fall but I was trying to talk my husband into getting a cow that we could breed each year and process that baby from....
