NY chicken lover!!!! - Page 5163
The pullets are 7 weeks this Wednesday and the cockerel is 9 weeks on Thursday. He's totally feathered and the girls are mostly feathered but still have some down. With the weather being in the 50s and 60s I figured they'd be fine but I was planning on bringing them inside for nights colder than 40. Now it's only 25 out during the day there's no way I'd subject them to that.
Good Choice...I just got nervous because they are itty bittys ..
Hi y'all. I'm watching the country music awards. Can't believe I don't know most of these people, it's been ages since I listened to country music. I used to listen to it much more before I started living in this country, believe it or not.😂 I'm slightly worried about my young ones in this cold snap we're having. But I suppose they'll be ok. They're already about three and a half months old. It's just that it's been so nice since they've been outside, and now suddenly it's cold.
They may be big enough now.. Arent they inside something - like a coop ? or can they could all go in together inside the building chick is in ?

There may have been a adjustment ..because of the change in feed ..
More than likely it is just a Random thing that happened
I wouldnt worry about it unless it continues to happen .
A hens body sometimes does weird stuff ..Like the double egg ...it had to go backward to get another egg & shell attached to it
The beer can is shiny & interesting ...The camera just looks like a big eye
We had enough snow I had to push it away to get out of my kitchen door ..
I saw no chickens at the gate today ...wanting to get out ...
They did once I went out there though
Interesting recipe - egg filled potato- I think I would scramble the egg though
