I am thinking about selling my flock of Partridge Chanteclers.  There are 2 hens that want to be broody and honestly I have no time for broodies, I have 3 incubators and need eggs.  They are wonderful, friendly birds and will not be a year old until May.  There is 1 Roo and 9 hens.  Not sure what to ask but they all are laying (except for the broody wanna-be's).  The Roo is a great guy and never mean to anyone.  The other reason is that I got WAAAYYYY too many cool eggs in the swaps this spring and need room for something else.

Busy night huh?   NCIS is a repeat.  lol.png

So I called EBay about a negative post thingie on my account , which I haven't used in years and ti was placed 5 years ago and how do I get it taken off.

Well you can only do it up to 90 days and you just have to create a new account.  Isn't that nice?

So my question is why bother tagging someone with a negative feedback when they can just create a new account?

Because they make up dumb rules just like everywhere else.  DS is watching a show so I am here.  I don't mind at all,  I like the chat.

Cause some peeps have huge eBay feedback and they'd lose it by starting a new account. I've got lots o feedback and if I got a neg I'd have to just keep it...

As for the Tsc pullets, don't think I could get them yet, my broodies won't accept them so soon I don't think.. Would rather get cool hatchery pullets but can't take a whole week off to wait for them to get here..

I'd chat more but harder to post from my iPad.. Watching doomsday preppers and telling DH it's just like him!

I'm really getting excited for this coming week after Easter. Taking the kids to TS to get the Chick-N-Hutch they have there as well as the run. I read some reviews on it about how it's not all that weather proof so I'm going to spend the week altering it a bit to make sure it can withhold the rain/snow come winter. Also going to try to get started with some chicks this week. The kids have been begging and begging! If I have to start by getting 6 at TS due to finding no one close by to get 2-3 from I will. I'll just have to post an ad on CL or something or maybe even ask my neighbors if she wants the extra. This is going to be a very small hobby so I really didn't want to start out with all 6 at once.

Don't need no nothin, all I need is time for the simple life.

Rancher, yesterday I was in E. Syr. TSC and they had some really cute chicks that looked the same color that the chicks I got from the hatchery in Seneca Falls that were said to be Buff Orpington. At TSC they were labeled only Straight run. No Breed was specified.

To me, they looked like mine. BUT, my chicks are 6weeks old and they don't look like what I would expect BO to look like. They have very pale, cream parts and rather darker areas, almost cinnamon. So, perhaps a call to the store? They may have figured out what they are by now, and maybe they got more to get what you want.

Lynzi, those people seemed very helpful to me, too, but I am not sure I got what I thought I was getting.

i have personally witnessed a hawk chase, attack and kill a full grown wild hen turkey.

lol.png  The last time I had the peeps wandering around outside the run, I had to run into the house through the back door for a minute.  When I came back out, there were four of them trying to peer through the screen door.  Nosy things.

This reminds me of the dream Alan said he had the other night.  He hates all things zombie, but, because zombies are fashionable, he can't avoid them.  So, the other night he dreamed that we had zombies attacking the house.  Because they couldn't get to us, they went after the chickens.  The chickens then became zombie chickens and came after us.  They surrounded the house and were tapping on all the doors and windows trying to get in to eat us.  I said that somebody needs to make a zombie chicken movie - I'd go see it!
