broody polish hen

i have a silverlaced polish hen that just hatched out 4 chicks but 1 didnt make it. i read that polish hens dont go broody, but mine did. does anyone else have any.

You are lucky.They hardly ever go broody.Most of the time you have to put their eggs under a broody hen or put them in a incubator.

Cool! I hope I have one that goes broody some day.

BTW Japanese,mille fleur Jap project,  corturnix quail, some red chickens I got at TSC, one EE and 2 EE chicks, and some really poor pyncheons, 10 ducks and 2 welsh harlequin ducklings,  one pheasant hen, one pheasant chick, one MFC chick, 2 Norwegian Jaerhon chicks.

I have 2 that have gone broody the one hatched out 10 chicks.

I have Bantam welsummers,   Bantam Olive eggers, MGB, LF Welsummers, BCM, BLRW, LF Buff and Golden Laced polish x Tolbunt, LF Sumatras, Bantam Sumatras, d'anvers, CCL, Bantam wyndottes   and bunch of free range birds

no i dont have any pics only one is polish the other 2 are mixed they are so cute.
