Four little mallards eat and drink as much as the 8 other little chicks. They've gone through nearly a quart of food in since yesterday morning.  Web-footed little piggies.

p.s. don't mean to alarm you but my mom passed from a septic gall bladder.  do you need some byc chicken help to get that surgery done?

Hi everyone- I wasnt on all weekend so theres no way I can catch up.

Saturday was my birthday= and when you turn forty three you get to have an ultrasound for a birthday gift. Confirmed gallstones and inflammation. I have to call the surgeon today. But, I cant schedule surgey until after I can figure out how to schedule myself off for two weeks. Until then, I eat chicken soup. Anything else hurts. Its the 'over forty diet". 

I had a great weekend, met up with old friends, new friends..good times. My girls went to the Monster Truck Jam on Saturday night and they had a good time. 

I have two little showgirls under my Sizzle, doing good. Cute as can be, and two other broodies sitting eggs due on the sixteenth. 

The thirteen seventeen? I cant remember..in the house are growing and cute. HUGE feathers on their feet...and then some without. 

There is a dusting of snow out there this morning, hope it goes away soon. 

I have a beagle that needs a home. She is sweet, about seven months old. Gets along with my cats and dogs. She belonged to the neighbor three doors down. The neighbor two doors down the other way handed it to my daughter and told her, "your mom is a vet, she can do whatever she wants with it". It was pouring down rain, the dog was soaked and I was MAD. When I came home from work, I went down to the owners house, knocked on the door- and she came to the window and told me< "I have to go to the bank and pay my bills and then I will come get her". I said, "Seriously? I cant let my dogs in until you come get her"...and she started spoutin off some weird talk that I couldnt understand. I sent my husband down five hours later, and she again made no sense. SOOOO, the next day, she came walking down the sidewalk. Beagle saw her through the door and ran into the back bedroom. My husband went out on the porch and said, "Do you want your dog?" and she started preaching this religious talk and screaming...AHHHHH@ AHHHHHH@ AHHHHH~" Yes, she is definitely off her meds...um, so anyhow..anyone want a beagle pup? I am NOT keeping her and the dynamics in my house is WACKED OUT now with a fourth dog. Plus, I cant let the chickens out into the yard with a beagle here. Nope, not gonna train her to leave them alone, because she is NOT staying. 

In other news, I hear its going to be nice this week if the weather people are to be believed My husband is going up to St. Helen to do fishing. Anyone around there to report how the weather is? He is leaving Thursday. 

I have been trying to find a way to not have gall bladder surgery. LOL. Are you sure you need 2 weeks off for it? That there is not something I can do. I mean, I can probably get help, but 2 weeks is a lot of time for me...

No, I don' t want a beagle. My puggle, Rotten Ruby is bad enough. LOL
