I know, its a bad picture. They were in a field and I got out of the jeep to try and get a pic of them, and this was the best.. they kinda are shaped like fat footballs with feathers, heads and feet...

At the very least, wipe the poop off your feet before getting in the car.

Oh, and this farm where I saw them, I have never seen them there before, and I go by it every day for 3 years. They have alpacas here.

DH and middle son went ramp harvesting today.  When they got home had a FABulous ramp omelet.  I love the Spring!!!!

I'm starting to worry about my Mom. She was talking to my half-brother and he asked for my e-mail addy. Mom couldn't remember it. 
It's my name, Mom!
She couldn't remember my phone number either. It's on the card taped right next to the phone.
I think it's time to look for a retirement home...

Those are guinea fowl - very noisy and irksome, but incredibly tasty! We had some; himself couldn't stand the noise so we ate them  - worse than pea fowl (noise-wise, haven't eaten any peafowl so don't know about the taste).

I'm sorry bout your Mom RaZ. I don't want to sound flippant, but at least she remembers "what" an email address is, and who you are; and she knows what a telephone is. It's much worse when she can't remember those things.  She's probably quite upset herself that she can't remember, so be gentle with her.

My kids helped me with my paper for college!  Now that I am warmed up again, I am feeling a little more confident. It is still not on the paper properly (there are all these formatting rules he.gif ) But  think eventually I can get there.  celebrate.gif

 

Nova - thanks for the photos of Leila (she is so cute) and Vonna doing yoga and Veena looking good!

Fuzzy - those are very dear looking children! And the desert you made looks amazing.

RaZ - I thought AFD stood for Happy Palm Sunday...... but I could not figure out how you were coming up with those letters........lau.gif
