Well that sounds like a plan. wink.png And you know you love this idea...

Are you talking Atlanta MI or Atlanta GA? I grew up in Alpena & had a friend in Atlanta so I was there a lot. Love it up there!

Michigan.

MIL had a house right on the 45th parallel on Thunder Bay River. I loved going up there. I spent a lot of time there and surrounding areas.

(Also spent time in Atlanta, GA., but I'll keep it PG) wink.png

I've tried to walk one of my chickens with a small dog harness. She tried to run away from the harness for a while, then would walk around normally for a bit before trying to take off again.

I think it could be done, much like training a cat to walk with a harness. You'd have to start at a younger age, perhaps a few months old, and get them used to wearing the harness frequently and being on a leash.

With the dog harness, you slip it on over their wings and clip it in place, then attach a leash. I think it would work best with a lap chicken, since they're more adjusted to being handled.

Nope. I'm trying to throw your DH / BF off the trail so I can swoop in and steal you both away.

MORELS: I read that if you cover them with a jar and keep them moist they will grow larger!!! I am trying it out on one that is seperated from the group... It seems to be a little bigger!! highfive.gif

RAZ: You must be great company for everyone fighting for a date with you to chickenstock!!  clap.gif

BIRD HARNESS: I have seen macaw leashes at the pet store... Maybe you could get some ideas from one and make a light weight one to get them acclimated... I have also had ferret/rabbit harnesses that are light and easy to adjust...yippiechickie.gif
