G'night all you great Mi's! I'm off to fix front leg of pork (home grown) with onions, in homemade parsnip wine with fingerling potatoes, Brussels sprouts and corn. I don't usually make "big" food during the week, but Himself says I need to make room in the freezer because . . .

Mom 2, I am so sorry

My BR girls have finally picked up the pace and started laying well in the past couple of weeks. However, one of the girls deserves time off for what she laid today.

I came back because I had good news to share too..its a very small world.

Today was the honor's breakfast at my daughters school. Giving our awards and a pin and an Academic Varsity letter for her all A grades...

yeah, I sure didnt win any award at all. 

She sent me a text.."Mom? Im at the banquet..." and me? I was sitting at work. FORGOT ALL ABOUT IT. Missed it. So I felt so guilty, like the worlds worst mama..so, I called up the florist to send her flowers at the school. Florist tells me that the school wont allow them to deliver there- not even to the office. *(hm, betcha they would if it was for a teacher or secretary or the principal..but I digress....) so I had them deliver them to her work. I give the person on the phone the address and my name my daughters name..and she asked me if I used to live in the apartments a long time ago in Southgate...yes yes I did..she was my friend and neighbor then 20 years ago!!!!!! She says, "i see you at all the school events.." And I asked her why she has never come up to me and said hi. She said, "I was afraid to, because I am HUGE now"..I said, "SO what I am old and wrinkly now- who cares? "  She said because she knows people talk and say, "wow, she got big"..Her son is in marching band with my daughter, and her other child goes to school with my younger daughter.

This is a sad story, and you told it well because I can totally see the dogs doing these things. haha! And yes, this line says it all doesn't it? I'm sure that's what my BF would say too.

I dont ask for help to be funny...putting all my Uggos in your truck while you and Hubby are unloading the brooder...funny. 

No, I dont plan on stocking up, its just that my husband has that girly truck and I always bring all the coolers of drinks to ChickenStock and they wont fit with the brooder..and Im not sure it will fit in his girly truck because the girls will need to sit in the backseat..so It wont have much room.
