started out with a standard Turken male...and my banty silkies.

Made some odd creations.

559

RaZ took the only girls, which are brown..plus my little crippled dinosaur. The boys were white with black markings- which made me wonder if they were actually my Sizzles offspring..

and then THOSE boys grew up, true Uggo- which, Sara, RaZ named them Uggos...

Anyhow, those boys mingled their genes with my silkies, and my Sizzle, and possibly my Frizzle...and made THESE new Uggos.

Now THESE newest babies- hatching all mishmash days are the latest from STILL fertile eggs that were laid WEEKS after the Uggos left to go live with Ferrets friend.

And they are hatching on odd days because my silkie was broody, and sitting on dud eggs but the other hens were laying eggs in HER nest...so, they arent the same day into incubation. These are SURPRISE Uggos- because I wasnt expecting any of the eggs to still be fertile, but I candled them before tossing them...and SURPRISE...

clear as mud?

Silly, once they are all hatched and fluffed and dry- I will take pictures and let you see which ones you want,,,and as they grow and you may have ALL of them. :)

I have chickens coming out of my ears now.

Now I am really leaving for work..

Opa -- We've been facing a similar predicament lately.  Our two farm dogs are getting up there in age and consider themselves retired.  The older one, our female, doesn't even bother to meet us at the door half the time anymore.  The other dog, who is younger, but much larger so probably at about the same point in his life, has become quite crotchety in the past year.  He's good with people, but doesn't much want any of the other dogs or animals messing with him.  He growled at his own backside the other day after he passed gas.  roll.png  We've been debating for more than a year about what would be the right timing to bring a new puppy in.  We'd like to have it learn the ropes before the older dogs are completely useless (and at this point I almost think we waited too long on that one), but without having too many dogs to deal with ourselves.  We ultimately decided to move forward this year even though it means having several dogs in the house to deal with.  It'll take more than a year to have the new dog broke in, so we hope by doing it now the puppy will be at least mostly trained before the older dogs pass.

Muttsfan - Ya'll will have to talk to Eeyore about those geese.  I'm just housing them for a couple more days.  LOL!

Farmerboy - The pigs are looking good.  Nice job on the fence addition.  Are you still planning on training them to your electric?  Those piglets will grow like weeds, I tell ya.  And the AGH piglets especially are too funny, because they end up looking like little tanks on legs before long.  They're thick little stinkers.

There was someone else I was going to reply to but I can't remember anymore....

I have never tried WoW, I've heard it can take over your life and ruin marriages. lol...But I guess if you and hubby both play it then that works, right? I do have a WoW offshoot game for PS2 that is kind of fun, don't think it's that similar though other than being addictive. There's a bunch of PS3 games I want to play but never get around to it. That is really dumb that you can't leave a game w/o penalty, I mean, what if real life happens? That does occur on occasion...but maybe not to those game designers lol. I wish I had more time to play but alas, school has temporarily taken up all of my spare time (and also some that's not spare). And you're probably right, I might be the only person who'd make it through that whole paragraph, haha.

Also, I assure you, I will never be bored enough to come till your garden also. One is enough for me!! sorry.

That last part there made me laugh out loud. Love this thread.

I used to play more console games, but it just got too bloody expensive to keep up with the consoles, and the games are not cheap, either! And then a newer one is out before you can blink! The newest console I have is the Xbox 360, lol. I don't want to find out how much I have payed to Blizzard for WoW over the years, but $15 a month is easier to swallow. If you consider that it's the only thing I spend on entertainment though,( I don't have TV, I don't go out, lol,) it's a pretty small bill compared to many other people.

As far as not being allowed to leave games, the thing is that this game is a set amount of players VS a set amount of players. Think sort of like Warcraft III / Starcraft back before they turned the lines into MMOs. Everyone starts off as lvl 1 with no items, and as the game progresses you gain exp and gold, and purchase items. So if a teammate leaves, your team is kind of screwed. Not only would it be undesirable for a new person to jump into the middle of the game, but a lvl 1 with no gear at that point would be useless anyway. So, that's why I said I understand where they're coming from, but it just isn't feasible for me. Games are usually around 30 minutes long, but they can last anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour and a half. I can't guarantee that I will have that kind of time uninterrupted. That said, though, I think it pretty much sometimes happens to most people, so unless you're a complete jerk, people won't normally report you for going AFK for a portion of the game, especially if you can come back in with an apology and an explanation. I have been playing a few weeks and have not been reported yet. It is pretty fun.

Hi Everyone,

I haven't been in a while, trying to stay off the computer and get some other things done like scrap booking some photos, organizing things throughout the house, finishing the chicken tractor which is now occupied by the chicks but still needs a couple final touches, gardening, etc. 784 posts to read....I'll pass and assume all is well in the chicken world on BYC. I will eventually get some pics of my tractor and chicks for you guys to see. Those little ones I got from Theron are growing like bad weeds and they are so cute. The little EOG named Squirt always snuggles & takes cover under  the EEs.

I did skim over some of the most recent and found the pics to be enjoyable and the battle over Raz hilarious. Maybe the girls should mud wrestle over him at chicken stock! That would be something to see & quite entertaining. We could place wagers, do a little betting & gambling or sell tickets and hold a 50/50 drawing. wink.png

                    Hope everyone enjoys their day.

They definitely are more expensive to keep up if you buy games a lot, which I dont. I buy a game which I have rented to test it out, and which I know will either take me a LONG time to beat, is fun to play over and over, and/or has multiple endings. The thing I like about the PS3 now though is that you can buy games from their online store from other consoles like PS1 and you dont have to actually pay for the physical game; often they are not too expensive either, unless they're new ones.

I dont know a lot about RPGs but I get what you're saying about the levels of players; also makes sense why you wouldn't want someone to leave during a game. Its good that most people realize that life happens sometimes! All this game talk has me wanting to play now! Wish I could just go home and be lazy for a couple hours.
