Don't feel like you are alone.  I am still trying to figure out what I want to do when I grow up.

Roxy certainly was an incredible horse.  So sad that she had to be put down.

When having problems with chickens stop and think, what would Harlan do?
I've dealt with many thorns in my life and the flower is always worth the effort.

Hi everyone, I'm new to hens AND the board. We are getting our first hens in June and still searching and search for the perfect coop and run to build. Think we have the coop plan just trying to work out details on the run. Hubby is really into this and so are our kids (almost 4 and almost 2) and we have another on the way in August.

We also are into horses :) We board horses and have 3 of our own. Really miss riding since I am pregnant. Mostly doing Dressage right now.

We are located near Kalamazoo in a small town called Plainwell. Love the country life.

I'm still trying to decide what I want to be when if I grow up.

I have a BS in engineering and a MS in Ecology and I still can't find a job.

Where are you going to school at? Or are you done?

We will see what hatches - fl.gif - one of the silkie eggs is a porcelein too.  I may bring all the ones I have, it was a whim to get the eggs in the first place.

Home of the world's cutest dachshund, one crazy blue heeler, two cats,
one fat pony, and many (but not too many!) chickens

Can anyone tell me, how many are too many chickens?

Hi, where in the UP are you located? We love to vacation there. Spent a week hiking in Munising with my oldest when he was younger and in the backpack carrier.

St. Ignace, gateway to the beautiful UP (and very windy here today too!)

I envy anyone who actually knows that. I dropped out of art school after a handful of years, and still have no idea where I want to go with any of it.

I'm finishing up my semester at Washtenaw Community College and then I am trying to decide between Central Michigan or Eastern Michigan Uni. I want to do Bio-medical sciences with heavy English classes to enter technical writing or research science. I wanted to be a flight nurse/emergency department but the program and wait lists have really burned me. Audiology was recently rated as a high paying (relatively) field but it requires a doctorate.

That or I want to go into zoology and into endangered birds of prey study or conservation.

The issue lies in being happy doing a lot of things and many don't pay the bills. I'm close to getting a Bachelors in something if I settle and get a counselor on to evaluate my credits.

LOL, you guys have been so chatty that it's hard for me to keep up! I call myself skimming but I must not be very efficient at it. I LOVED ME3 until the last 10minutes of gameplay. Not sure if you've read all the hooplah about it but they are issuing a free DLC that's supposed to fix that. The whole series though is amazing.

I played Horde. A Tauren druid.  :)

I have 1 Lovely Husband, a Colorful Chicken Flock, French and English Angora Rabbits, 2 Bichons, and 1 Mangy Rescue.

Babigyrl: All my friends play the Horde. I've dipped into Alli once or twice to see the different story lines. I have heard all that insanity over ME3's ending and I am abit glad I never got into the series. That sort of thing riles up my temper. gig.gif
